Building a Circle of Safety
Imagine your organization could become a designated and recognized safe haven for victims of domestic violence. The "Intimate Partner Violence (IPV)" protocol, also known as "The Circle of Safety," serves as the cornerstone of our prevention strategy. Rooted in doctoral research, this comprehensive protocol is designed for implementation within churches, businesses, and civic groups, transforming your organization into a prepared and powerful ally in the fight against domestic abuse.
The IPV Protocol: A Comprehensive Partnership to Build a Safer Community
The IPV Protocol is not just a training course; it is a collaborative partnership. We provide a complete, end-to-end solution to equip your organization with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to become a recognized safe haven for survivors of domestic violence. Our proprietary protocol ensures you meet the highest standard of care and readiness.
Our process includes four distinct phases:

1. Phase 1: Confidential Needs Assessment
We begin with a thorough, confidential assessment of your organization's current policies, culture, and readiness. This allows us to tailor the implementation of the protocol directly to your unique environment.
2. Phase 2: The Full IPV Protocol Implementation
This is our core training. We move beyond a simple workshop to a comprehensive implementation of our research-based protocol. This includes training for leadership and key staff on recognizing abuse, responding effectively and safely, and understanding your role as a community ally.
3. Phase 3: Designation & Recognition
Upon completion, your organization earns the official Pillar of Society Designation from Say Your Name, Inc. You will receive a digital seal for your website and a window cling for your location to publicly signal your commitment. You will also be featured as a Designated Partner on our website and in our community communications.
4. Phase 4: Ongoing Partnership & Resources
The work doesn't end after the training. All designated partners receive ongoing access to our resource library, quarterly update emails with new information, and a direct line of contact for consultation as situations arise.
