Say Your Name, Inc. is a survivor-founded nonprofit dedicated to helping individuals affected by intimate partner violence move from isolation toward safety, healing, and renewed hope. Through compassionate advocacy, education, practical support, and faith-informed care, we help survivors explore options, navigate resources, and take their next steps with dignity.

Based in Charles County and serving surrounding communities, Say Your Name, Inc. also works with faith communities, public-safety partners, businesses, and civic organizations to strengthen awareness and improve community responses to intimate partner violence.

Rev. Dr. Sebrenna R. Whitlock, D.Min.

Rev. Dr. Sebrenna R. Whitlock, D.Min., is the Founder and CEO of Say Your Name, Inc., a survivor-founded nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals affected by intimate partner violence through compassionate advocacy, education, practical support, and faith-informed care.

Drawing upon her lived experience, ministry leadership, and professional background in law enforcement, Dr. Whitlock works to strengthen the pathways survivors encounter when seeking safety, support, and understanding. She guides the development of Say Your Name, Inc.’s survivor-centered programs, community partnerships, educational initiatives, and organizational response framework.

Her work is rooted in the belief that every survivor deserves to be seen, heard, believed, and supported with dignity. Through Say Your Name, Inc., Dr. Whitlock brings together survivors, faith communities, public-safety partners, businesses, and community leaders to expand awareness and build more informed, compassionate responses to intimate partner violence.
