“What the new year brings to you will depend a great deal on what you bring to the new year.” ~Vernon McLellan~
What an unforgettable year 2020 was. A global pandemic, a toilet paper shortage, and countless challenges in between—many of us were eager to turn the page and start fresh. Yet, in the whirlwind of change and uncertainty, we also discovered something extraordinary: the chance to slow down, reconnect with our loved ones, and rediscover hobbies and passions we had long set aside.
At Say Your Name! Inc., our hearts remain with every individual and family affected by COVID-19. To those who battled the virus or lost someone dear, we see your pain. Only God’s love, grace, and mercy can truly sustain you in such moments. We also extend our deepest gratitude to the heroes among us—doctors, nurses, first responders, grocery clerks, and all who stood on the front lines to protect and serve. Your courage and dedication are the brushstrokes that color our collective story.
Amid the darkness, we witnessed resilience, compassion, and a commitment to one another that inspired hope for brighter days ahead. The world, even in crisis, became a canvas painted with acts of kindness and strength. As we step into a new year, it may be tempting to leave the past behind—but I encourage you to reflect. In 2020, we proved that together, we can overcome any obstacle. We emerged stronger, and that strength is a vibrant color we now carry forward.
Let us take this renewed confidence into the year ahead. Let us keep painting our lives with bold strokes of courage, creativity, and love—for ourselves, our communities, and the world. The masterpiece of tomorrow begins with the choices we make today.
“You are the God who sees me.” – Genesis 16:13
Take care of yourselves and each other, and keep creating your masterpiece.
